Cape of Good Hope
Our tour guide will pick you up in the morning in our spacious air-conditioned vehicle. We will explore the entire Cape Peninsula with all its fascinating highlights. After a beautiful coastal drive we will make our way over the Chapman’s Peak Pass (weather dependent) which is probably the most spectacular mountain pass of the Western Cape. After plenty of photo opportunities we will make our way through the rural coastal village of Noordhoek to the outmost southwestern point of Africa, the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. Unmatched flora and fauna await us in one of the six Floral Kingdoms of the World. At the top of Cape Point, next to the old lighthouse, we’ll have a view over the whole of Cape Point and, on a clear day, even the entire Cape Peninsula. Driving along the False Bay coast in the afternoon we reach Simons Town, the old South African marine base where we will visit a rookery of African penguins nesting on Boulders Beach. Shortly before returning to Cape Town we will then visit the breathtaking Botanical Gardens of Kirstenbosch which displays the variety of the local vegetation on more than 500 ha and forms part of the World Heritage Site. In the early evening you will be back at your accommodation in Cape Town.
